Featured in the American Bee Journal, November ’03, on overwintering your
colonies indoors.
*Spoke about nosema and dissintary , and how to tell the difference between the
Two. Dissintary will usually look like a mess at the upper enterance, and when the
hive is opened it stinks and usually is accompanied by a pile of moist bees.
*John Williams brought in a candy board made of powdered sugar and “bakery
grade” corn syrup. Said you can also add pollen to them. John also added that
moisture contributes to nosema growth.
*Please tip your server- yes it is a buffet, but tips are how they make their money-
We enjoy meeting here, so lets show some appreciation.-thank you
